Sample Term Devotional (p27)
A ball being thrown from one player to another player by one of several different methods is called a pass.
Good basketball teams more often will move the ball by passing as opposed to dribbling. All players are eligible to score without the ball, if they move and receive a pass.
Legal wills are used to make sure our prized possessions and accumulated wealth are dispersed according to our wishes. Passing down family heirlooms is very important to most families because of the value attached to earthly possessions. What should we pass down to future generations? Many times a family learns about God from what is passed down by previous families. This was especially true during Old Testament days. When one generation neglects to tell the next generation about God, the next generation will suffer. (And perhaps the previous generation as well.) God has commanded us to pass His Word to those who have not heard about His Son. God’s Word will never pass away, but people will not know about it unless someone passes it on. His Word is our most prized possession to leave for others.
